Full action in historical rally The Midnight Sun Rally was originally arranged between 1950 and 1964. The rally was then re-established in 2006 as a historical rally, and participating cars must not be newer than 1981. The rally has in its modern form been a total success, giving old rally aces like Stig Blomqvist and Björn Waldegård the opportunity to race in bit more relaxed form. Not that they will slow down or take it easy, a winner always wants to win, but racing in a bit more inexpensive way. There will be both speed and excitement on the way, in the fight for seconds. The rally will come to Trollhättan on Thursday afternoon. The special stage in Trollhättan runs on classical rally roads, not more than 10 km from the Saab Car Museum. The contestants will start on special stage "Kabelvägen" at 4,10 pm, but you need to be there well in advance to get a good spot to watch it from. The first cars will then arrive at the Saab Car Museum for service and overnight stop att approximately 4,45 pm. Restart from the Saab Car Musuem on Friday morning at 8 am. Full program with details will be sold at the Saab Car Museum, and museum staff might even give you a hint of where the best spots to watch the rally are =) Contestants may enter in either the Regularity Class och the Historic Rally Class.
